History

In 1970, Paul Twitchell had a vision of the Temple of ECK, but the dream was not realized during his time. In 1980 Sri Harold Klemp had his own vision of the Temple and saw that it would be in Minnesota.

After a site was found, work on the Temple began in 1988. Two year later it was completed, and Sri Harold presided over the dedication on October 22, 1990.

Visitors to the Temple often comment upon a very definite, loving presence there, for it reflects and rings with the subtle Light and Sound of God. Many visitors from around the world recognize they're in a unique, holy place. They return again and again to renew their spiritual lives.

The Temple of ECK is a place for all people who love God, a starting place for Soul's dream of reaching God.
