Cave of Fire

Cave of Fire An inner purification each Soul goes through in order to become a Coworker in the spiritual realms. The test of the Cave of Fire usually occurs early in a chela's time in Eckankar.

Its purpose is to weaken the hold of karma so that Soul gains a little more spiritual freedom. Chelas may or may not remember this experience which helps them be more alert to the Sound Current and Its message.
