Cave of purification

Cave(s) of purification This is an actual location on a number of planes. Its purpose is to provide a place for a rapid burn-off of karma.

The cave on the Astral Plane is in a mountainous area, and the mouth of the cave is tall enough to allow for twice the height of an average-sized man.

Some, but not all, Second Initiates are brought here in the dream state. The Mahanta leads them into the cave where a brilliant white light burns away useless karmic burdens. The fire is white, but the flames throw no heat in the usual way. It is a fire that burns the atoms in one clean.

Sometime after this rite of purification, the individual is cleared to pass into the Causal Plane.
