principles, feminine and masculine Two aspects of Soul's nature in the lower worlds. In the course of Its many incarnation, Soul takes on male and female bodies, yet every Soul in the lower worlds expresses both the feminine and masculine principles.

Soul Itself has no gender; It is both masculine and feminine in the worlds of God. When one reaches the Soul Plane and attains Self-Realization, the masculine and feminine principles are balanced within that individual.

The feminine principle is receptive in nature. It organizes the social structure of life and holds these elements together. It is the passive counterpart to the active masculine principle.

The masculine principle is positive, active, and progressive in nature. It plans, correlates and gives impetus to systems of social, religious, and philosophical thought. it discovers and works out the principles of God.
