attachment Being unduly influenced by affection, anxiety, procrastination, desires, or possessions. One of the five passions of the mind.

This is the state of being connected to the karmic conditions that hold one to the consciousness of the lower worlds. Also called moha.

The antidote for attachment is detachment, one of the five virtues.
