Fourth Initiation

Fourth Initiation The Fourth Initiation is both an inner and outer ceremony where the chela receives a new secret word to assist him in working through the Mental Plane.

This is where Soul is concerned with the spiritual evolution of intelligence. The Fourth Initiate, the Chiad (sometimes called the Bhakta), recognizes the limits of acquired knowledge and begins to cast off the influence of the psychic worlds. He allows the ECK to work within him beyond the reach of mind since neither reason nor logic offer the way to truth.

This leads to entering into a full trust of his inner senses. He becomes a more potent channel for the Mahanta.
