Ahmad Qavani

Ahmad Qavani (AH-mahd kah-VAH-nee) The Living ECK Master during the reign of King John of England (AD 1199-1216).

Qavani worked behind the scenes to promote freedom, including spiritual freedom, for the English people. In particular, he helped the barons assert their legal rights before King John. The result was the Magna Carta, and Ahmad Qavani was present at its signing in 1215.
