Secret word

secret word The individual word given to the chela at the time of initiation. As an expression of the holy ECK, your personal word is a master key to the kingdom of heaven.

It opens the channel between you and the Master so he can give you the inner teachings.

The Mahanta animates and quickens the ECK mantra, making it a mass of radiant energy. He injects his own consciousness and its objective Light into the chela receiving the initiation.

The chela then feels the shock of spiritual consciousness. It is an unspeakable feeling of blessedness which comes upon him.

When the individual secret word is used, all the accumulated forces of Soul's incarnations are aroused in the initiate. This produces the conditions and power for which the word is intended. The uninitiated may utter any specific word or mantra as often as he likes, but it will not produce anything for him.
