Apollonius of Tyana

Apollonius of Tyana (ap-uh-LOH-nee-uhs uhv TIE-uh-nuh) An ECK Master who was also a famous Greek teacher (known to history also as a mystic or neopythagorean philosopher) in the first century AD.

He was often seen in two places at the same time, and many miracles are attributed to him. Sentenced to death by a Roman tyrant, he escaped by suddenly disappearing from the courtroom, then appearing in a distant city a very short time later.
