Amdo

Amdo (AHM-doh) The dialect of a tribe or community in northeastern Tibet, where ECK has been prominent and well known. Fubbi Quantz, Rebazar Tarzs, and Yaubl Sacabi were originally of the Amdo people.

Amdo is also the Tibetan name for a large Chinese region.
